Live translation for churches
Every sermon,
in their own language.
Lumbre translates the sermon as it’s preached. People scan a QR code and hear it in a natural voice on their own phone, with the words on screen to read along.
Already in use in Sunday services.
For the whole church
No one misses the message.
In every church, someone catches only part of the message: a grandmother who came with her family, a guest a friend invited, a neighbor still learning the language. With Lumbre, they hear all of it, from the first word, on the phone already in their hand.
-
On their own phone
No equipment to buy, charge or hand out. Everyone brings what they need.
-
At every service
The translation is ready whenever you are, with no one to schedule.
-
Side by side
People who speak different languages worship in the same room, at the same time.
How it works
As simple as pressing Start.
Set it up once, and it’s ready for every service.

Everyone follows along
They hear it in their language, in a natural voice, and can read along on screen. It keeps playing with the phone locked in a pocket.
Made for the sanctuary
Quiet in the room, clear in their ears.
A natural voice
A warm, clear voice that stays with the preacher, just seconds behind, from the first word to the last.
Words to read along
Large, calm captions that stay easy to read at arm’s length, in a bright room or a dim one.
No app, no sign-in
Scan the code and listen. There’s nothing to download and nothing to sign in to, so a first-time guest is in as quickly as anyone.
Easy to run
One button starts the service and one ends it. Everyone who runs it gets their own code, with no access to your billing.
Questions
What churches ask first
Do people need an app or an account?
No. They scan your QR code, or type your church’s address, and Lumbre opens in their phone’s browser.
What do we need to run it?
Any device with Chrome or Safari and an internet connection. Its own microphone works well in a small room. In a larger one, connect it to your sound system for the clearest sound.
How far behind the preacher is it?
A few seconds, close enough to stay with the sermon from start to finish.
Which languages does Lumbre translate?
Spanish and English, in either direction. If you need another, write to us.
Do you charge for listeners?
No. Plans follow the hours you translate. A sermon with ten listeners costs the same as one with five hundred.
Do you record the sermon?
No. Lumbre holds the audio and the translation only while the service is live. When you press Stop, they’re gone from Lumbre.
Lumbre opens at launch.
Sign-up and plans open then. Write to us, and we’ll tell you the day your church can start.
